DERBYTOWN - March 7th
A Langley-based alternative country band formed in 2018 around the idea of featuring the pedal steel guitar, two lead vocalists and plenty of harmony singing. The music is heavily influenced by alt-country stalwarts such as Blue Rodeo, Son Volt and Ray LaMontagne but also delves into some of the roots of country.
ROLLIN AND TUMBLIN - March 14th
Dave Paterson' an electric/electic blend of blues and blueeyed soul... Featuring songs by blues legends like T-Bone Walker, Elmore James and Sam Cooke, as well as some funky/jazz instrumentals by Earl Hooker and Nat Adderly! Joining Dave is bassist Sam Shoichet who also performs with the Roma Swing Quartet and the Louie Quinn Band.
MIKE VAN EYES - March 21
Mike is a sensational vocalist, pianist and showman. He brings his "A" list of Vancouver's top musicians to perform music from 1940's jazz and swing to 1960-1970's soul, funk and blues. His boogie woogie down to earth style of piano playhing and singing will keep your toes tapping all night long.
RUSTY CREEK - March 28
Combining elements of bluegrass, country blues, western swing, Cajun and anything else they could think of, Rusty Creek was born. They have performed extensively throughout the Vancouver BC area and recently released their first CD.
